Status: Completable; graphics need polishing, script needs a lookover,
could use more special effects, intro script still missing.

Angels' Eve Collection (JAST, 1995)
Mobygames review
Gamefaqs page
Remakes of some of the earliest hentai games made. Not much in the way of
plot or drama, as you may guess, but fascinating from a historical perspective.
Status: Probably completable, except ending scripts are missing; graphics
need polishing, script needs to be localised.

Angels' Eve Collection 2 (JAST, 1995)
Mobygames review
Gamefaqs page
More remakes of JAST's early games; these have a little more plot than the
first collection, and the graphics are noticeably nicer.
Status: Probably completable, except ending scripts are missing; graphics
need polishing, script needs to be localised.

Eden no Kaori (JAST, 1996)
A murder mystery at a mansion, starring Joe the private investigator. Much
less compulsive verb+nouning than in the earlier games. Some two dozen
different characters, more than one ending.
Gamefaqs page
Status: Not completable, clickable map not implemented yet. Ending script
missing, graphics need polishing, script needs to be localised.

Shyuukan From H (JAST, 1997)
Gamefaqs page
I have no idea what's going on in this game, but it looks funny.
Status: Not completable, clickable map not implemented yet. Intro and
ending scripts missing, graphics need polishing, script needs to be
localised.

Magyokko Paradice (Tiare, 1996)
This is the game I'm maybe most excited over. As far as I can tell, it's
like Season of the Sakura but with magical girls. It's set in the same
school. You even get some cameos, and the cast performs a nice song in the
middle of the story.
Status: Probably completable. Intro and ending scripts missing, graphics
need polishing, screen scrolling effects missing, script needs to be
localised.

Setsujyuu ~ Yuganda Kioku (JAST, 1995)
Gamefaqs page
A student goes on a holiday at winter, and lots of exciting stuff happens.
Status: Probably completable. Ending script missing, graphics need lots of
polishing (in fact it might be a good idea to rip location graphics from
other games to replace these awful grey digitised photographs), script needs
to be localised.

|
Tasogare no Kyoukai (Tiare, 1997)
Our protagonist arrives at a remote village in a quasi-modern setting, and
meets the locals. Bad stuff happens, and only you can save the missing girls
from a first-person view dungeon! No RPG elements as far as I can tell, but
it looks interesting.
Status: Not really playble, needs a clickable map as well as
a first-person view mode. Intro and ending scripts missing, graphics need
polishing, script needs to be localised.

Transfer Student (JAST, 1995)
Mobygames review
Gamefaqs page
Don't confuse this with the completely weird localisation by the same
name. This is the original version, presented as a proper verb-noun visual
novel instead of that daydreaming mess with an excitement meter.
Status: Probably completable. Intro and ending scripts missing, graphics
need polishing (probably best to rip the graphics from the more colorful
remake), script needs to be localised.

In addition to these, there are a few more titles with partial support:
Vanishing Point (Tiare, 1995) is an adventure/JRPG hybrid, allowing
you to freely roam around the same town Tiare's other games take place in.
Has a great, if short, soundtrack. Needs serious rebalancing to be fun.
DEEP (JAST, 1994) is an adventure with first-person combat and
a rocking soundtrack. But the older engine version is giving me trouble, and
the background graphics are ugly digitised photographs, including a few that
I seem to be unable to decompress correctly.
Super Ultra Muttin Puripuri Cyborg Maririn DX (JAST, 1994) is
also an adventure with first-person combat, with a decidedly wacky bent. I
have the older scripting format mostly worked out now.
Tenshitachi no Hohoemi (JAST, 1996) is a dating sim, kind of like
True Love, complete with chibi animations, only you already failed at school
and instead are tutoring three girls, trying to get their statistics high.
The new interface is the main problem.
Nocturnal Illusions and Mayclub - I can extract the graphics
and music from the DOS versions, but there is no point adding further support
since the highly polished remakes already run smoothly on VileVN.
In addition to all those, I am looking into being able to run the
acclaimed GaoGao series by FourNine, and I have a potential list of
some two dozen other PC-98 games by various companies that appeared
particularly interesting and would be awesome to support. That includes
an Elf RPG series...
